Why reduce Pesticide?

Reduce pesticides to protect the insects birds need to survive.

Insects are important food for birds. When we use pesticides, it can harm these insects. By using fewer chemicals, we help keep the insects healthy, as well as the birds that eat them.
 

Reducing pesticide use is crucial due to significant negative impacts on human health, the environment, and biodiversity. Pesticides can contaminate soil and water, harm non-target species like beneficial insects and pollinators, and pose risks to human health through accidental exposure or consumption of treated food. Reducing reliance on pesticides also promotes sustainable agriculture and helps maintain healthy ecosystems.
